Irving 4th of July Parade

Praise to the Lord! Echoes of Mercy had an excellent outcome in Irving this 4th of July! Distributing over 4,500 clear Echoes of Mercy at Irving 4thgospel messages with invitations to enroll in our courses, along with who knows how much candy, the Word of God was spread to the excited crowds!
Our participants met the morning bright and early, as we met in Irving at 6:30AM. We left in a hurry to get the truck into the parade line up by 7:00 (thank you to the Balding family for the use of their truck!). Our volunteers were easy to pick out in the crowd, the guys wore overalls with jeans, and the ladies adorned themselves with old style dresses. If it weren’t for the pickup truck full of candy, we looked like a misplaced crowd from little house on the Best Marching Unit Awardprairie!
We had two volunteer fiddler’s who played along with our float, a few patriotic and old American songs.
Just before the parade began, we were pleasantly surprised to hear that our formation had won the “Best Walking Unit” award. We didn’t even know that we had entered to be judged! Praise the Lord!
Then it started, we started walking along side our truck, our banner leading the way. The crowds were yelling and waving, as we threw candy and gospel literature, the crowds begged for more. “Happy 4th of July!” “Happy Independence day” were yelled throughout the crowds.
Our part in the parade was completed in just under an hour, out of candy, and with just a few pieces of literature left, we headed back to our respective dwellings to celebrate freedom with our families.
Thank you to all who participated in the parade, both by your Kids Tossing Candypresence, financial donations, various talents, and most of all for your prayers. Continue to pray for the hearts which received God’s message today. He promises that His word will not return void. We can only tell people the direction their going, it’s between them and the Holy Spirit to change direction. If you are one of those hearts, don’t hesitate to contact us and tell us your story.
No 4th of July neBannerwsletter would be complete without saying that we are thankful for the Godly foundations we have in our country. This country was brought forth by the blood of patriots, and the grace of God. Thank you to the veterans who may be reading this who have sacrificed to keep our nations freedom. I ask everyone reading this today, to do your part in bringing America back to her Godly foundations. Start by spending time with God yourself, continue by teaching God’sFiddle Players truths to your family and friends, and extend your circle of influence to the whole world. That’s our great commission. But do it all in prayer. A humble nation of prayer, is a nation God heals

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
